Hokkaido Ice-Cream @ Hokkaido Ichiba, The Gardens

We stumbled upon Hokkaido Ichiba ice-cream accidentally and it is indeed one of our best accidental finds =)

Cow Print Pillar
Thought the post was of cow prints at first cause it is an ice-cream place but the black prints are actually hiragana in huge calligraphy strokes.

Avalable Ice Cream Flavours
There are other types of desserts available in the menu but the ice-cream scoops are the best deal and a quick fix for kiddie cravings.

Double Scoop (RM 6.80)
L: Green Tea + Black Sesame, R: White Peach + Hokkaido Melon
The ice-cream at Hokkaido Ichiba is not the very creamy type. It is also a little icy in texture.
  • Green Tea flavour is average as we like them strong and bitter. 4 Paws
  • Black Sesame is one of our favourite flavours due to its smooth velvetiness and strong black sesame flavour. Much stronger than the majority of Black Sesame ice-creams out there. 5 Paws
  • White Peach is quite an interesting flavour...after all, who has come across such a delightful flavour locally? Peach taste is sufficiently strong yet subtle (Statement is kinda contrasting huh? You'll have to try it for yourself =P) - JS's favourite of the lot apart from Black Sesame. 5 Paws
  • Hokkaido Melon! My absolute favourite!! Seriously, this is a must-try. The melon taste and smell are very strong and the ice-cream is extremely refreshing. As my brother puts it, once a scoop of Hokkaido Melon is in your mouth, you just can't stop smiling! This is a very good pick-me-up and I'll definitely order it every time I visit Hokkaido Ichiba. 5 Paws

Hokkaido Apple + Hokkaido Muscat Wine
  • Hokkaido Apple just grows on you - the more you eat it, the more you like it. It has a sweet apple flavour with bits of juicy apple hidden within the round ball of yellow ice-cream. 4 Paws
  • The wine flavour is very subtle in Hokkaido Muscat Wine. It is a unique flavour but pales in comparison to the other options. 3 Paws

PawPoints: 5 Paws
